Best Electronics and U.S. Export Authority Introduce Improved
Testing Procedures
San Francisco, California, July 17, 2007 - U.S. Export Authority,
Inc (USEA) and it's affiliated production company, Best Electronics
and Components Company, Inc. (BECCI), a world leader in contract
testing of analog and mixed signal semiconductors, introduced
today three new testing procedures for QFN, DFN, CSP, and WLP
semiconductor devices that provide higher reliability, faster
production rates, reduced capital costs for their customers, and
lower overall production costs. Their new high speed "Test
on Tape" process, using the new MCT Tapestry Film Frame Handler,
tests multiple package types & sizes without requiring mechanical
conversion kits; the new "Test After Singulation" process
eliminates semiconductor defects normally caused by mechanical
sawing after electrical testing; and BECCI's proprietary "Wafer
to Pocket Die Traceability" system tracks every unit from
the wafer through the testing & inspection operations to the
specific pocket on a reel of taped units. This feature allows
customers to perform a 'virtual retest' of taped devices in the
event of a specification change or new OEM requirement.
"These three new manufacturing processes, Test on Tape,
Test After Singulation, and Wafer to Pocket Device Die Tracking,
will enable us to proactively support the continued growth of
USEA and BECCI in the semiconductor testing services market"
said Fred Kinder, Chief Executive Officer and President of both
companies. "These three new test procedures will take USEA
and BECCI to the next level of service in the analog / mixed signal
contract test market and will provide our customers improved quality
and lower costs than previously possible. We are excited about
the benefits that these technical improvements offer ."
U.S. Export Authority, Inc. hires new Director of Sales
Effective May 14, 2007, U.S. Export Authority, Inc. (USEA) is
pleased to announce the addition of Fabian Naudin as Director
of Sales. This is a newly created position to proactively support
the continued growth of U.S. Export Authority, Inc. and Best Electronics
and Components Co., Inc. Fabian brings a very strong Sales background
from his previous employment.
Fabian has over 20 years of Sales experience. His latest employment
was with Amkor Technology where he was the Director of Western
Sales from 1999 - 2007. He was responsible for a global team of
professionals that supported key accounts generating annual revenue
of $90M. He is a high energy individual and U.S. Export Authority,
Inc. is very excited to have him on board.

FREMONT, Calif.- Credence
Systems Corporation (Nasdaq: CMOS),
a leading provider of solutions from design-to-production test for
the worldwide semiconductor industry, today announced that Best
Electronics & Components Company Inc. (BECCI) has purchased
multiple ASL 1000 test systems. BECCI, a leading provider
of total parametric and functional test solutions for linear, analog
and mixed-signal devices, will use the systems to test temperature
sensors, precision voltage references and MOSFETs.
"Credence's ASL 1000 is BECCI's preferred test platform for
analog mixed-signal devices," said Fred Kinder, BECCI's chief
executive officer and president. "Our engineers have developed
a powerful new test solution for MOSFET devices using the ASL 1000.
This solution performs tests such as gate resistance (Rg), avalanche,
gate charge, and DC measurements faster and more reliably than traditional
test methods, achieving lower overall costs for customers and making
it essential in today's competitive market. The new test methodology
minimizes insertions, prevents handling problems, including broken
leads, bent leads, and walking wounded devices, and enables significant
advances in manufacturing output."
"The architectural principle of the ASL 1000 offers key cost
benefit to customers, making the system ideal for manufacturers
and outsource assembly and test suppliers (OSATs) worldwide,"
said Dr. Graham Siddall, Credence's chairman and chief executive
officer. "With faster test times, higher throughput, and better
repeatability, the ASL 1000 provides BECCI with a compelling advantage
in the competitive test and assembly market. This multi-system order
significantly expands BECCI's current test capacity and strengthens
its position in the marketplace."
About ASL 1000
The ASL 1000 system is a test solution for standard linear, discrete,
and analog mixed-signal devices providing multi-site testing to
more than 100 sites for higher throughput. Its modular "non-matrix"
architecture helps decrease test times, offer high repeatability
and accuracy, and dramatically reduce the overall footprint of
the system in testing a wide range of devices. The ASL 1000 is
one of the most successful production test systems for analog
devices, with more than 950 systems in worldwide use.
About Best Electronics & Components
Company Inc.
Established in 1992, Best Electronics & Components Company
Inc. (BECCI) offers total parametric and functional test solutions
for analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. BECCI is specifically
configured for low cost, high volume, chipscale, wafer sort, and
final test. This allows customers to have additional capital available
for the designing of new products or reserve capital for other
needs. Visit http://www.usea.com for more information.
